Our Introductory Program is designed to give you a fun & easy start into the seven most popular social dances. You will be introduced to the basic step of the waltz, tango, foxtrot, cha cha, rumba, swing/shag, and salsa!

We teach on a private lesson basis with one-on-one instruction customized to each student. Private lessons offer the flexibility and specialization to give you the attention necessary to look and feel great on the dance floor, while developing the ability to lead or follow any partner. Because your lessons are tailored to your unique learning style, your dance proficiency will become more comfortable faster.

Private Lessons can be scheduled Mon-Fri between 12:30 and 8:30pm. Limited morning & Saturday appointments are also available.

Our Social Dance Parties are a great practical application of what you are learning in your program! They complete the lesson information taught in our private and group lessons by giving you a chance to practice what you’ve been learning out on the dance floor. Dancing in a lesson is one thing…but making the material work in a live setting while dancing with different people is quite another!
The social dance party will help you put everything together, as well as aid in music identification and help you to learn not to run into other people on the dance floor. You can meet other students and practice your leading and following skills in a fun, supportive and relaxed environment! You’ll get a chance to dance with our IBDS professionals and with other students who are learning just like you!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! We would love to help you prepare for your first dance as husband and wife.
The best way for you to get started would be to schedule our Wedding Consultation. This is a 40 minute private lesson where you and your instructor will discuss the kind of vision that you have for your first dance, listen to your chosen wedding song, and…after your teacher has a good idea of the best dance for you…will begin to teach you the basics of the appropriate dance. From there your instructor will be able to recommend the best possible way to get prepared for your BIG DAY!
